Most people who are now in their 20s were first introduced to a video game console with the classic Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), with titles such as Super Mario Bros., Contra, The Adventures of Zelda and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Over time, these old games were brought to the PC with the help of emulators ' software that created copies of the cartridges and enabled them to run on the PC.
