Since windows XP, Microsoft had to face an incredible numbers of fights and troubles. After years of supremacy, windows vista came out and did reach its audience, many customer uninstall the vista soft to reinstall XP. In that case, the problem came from inside Micorsoft ' and what should come out now with Windows 7 should not be better, but the best to reinstall Microsoft in its dignity!

While the Seattle team was working on windows 7, some more bad news were on the way '

Browsers concurrence : firefox made the world record download with the second edition in nune 2008, and google was launching chrome open source, both had a warm welcome while Internet explorer 6 and 7 were still experiencing troubles compatibility. Some Securities updates even kicked out softwares as Zone Alarm.

Search Engine : After a month of negociations and a very nice offer (32 $/share), Yahoo refuse to sell, the goal to approach Google leadership is even further now that google and yahoo seems to work together now.

Office tools : In october 2008, Open Office source is down while launching the 3.0 edition, to many downloads ! The free open source is clearly becoming a serious alternative to Office windows.

And last but not least, every years, Mac is reaching new sells records, thing is no one goes from Mac to Pc while the opposite is true !

But Microsoft is not a small company, and we can trust them, a nice surprise should come from windows 7 ' or it's will be microsoft Last waltz !
